North Tampa Luxury
Who says you have to start from scratch to create a whole new look for your home? We love to be able to save our clients money by using some of the pieces and finishes they already have. In this home there was no need to re-paint or replace flooring, and the home already had a great floor plan and lovely architectural elements to work with. Our client asked us to create an upscale look of luxury, that would still feel like home. They wanted to keep some of their one of a kind vintage pieces, so we combined them with various new modern elements to curate an updated look of elegance. We carefully selected furniture and accessories that were comfortable for family living while simultaneously creating an upscale, luxurious atmosphere. We selected sumptuous furnishings like velvet, Mongolian sheepskin and natural hides, and contrasted those tactile elements with smooth leathers, reflective surfaces, and metallics. We indulged in strategically placed animal prints, while live orchids and oversized abstract paintings completed the look. We hope everyone who enters this home experiences that special feeling one gets when surrounded by beauty.
Empty Nester Remodel
Our client built this family home in 1998. Two decades and three kids later, it had not seen much changeFocusing all their energy on three busy kids, pushed plans for a home makeover to somewhere near the bottom of the list. Now, finding themselves new empty nesters, they knew they were ready for a whole new look for their home, centering on a casual atmosphere, reflective of their lifestyle. Moving from their gorgeous lakefront lot was not in the plan for them. Instead, they decided to do a major interior overhaul including all new flooring and furniture, but mostly they wanted to bring their kitchen into the 21st century. They also wanted to open up their floor plan, which involved some remodeling. We worked closely with the builder to make design decisions that were both attractive and worked for the client’s practical needs. During the remodel the interiors were practically gutted providing a mostly clean slate to work with. However, we were able to spare a few areas from complete demo by replacing light fixtures and painting existing cabinetry. The refreshed surroundings were not only visible to the eye, but the client said they could almost feel a refreshment of spirit as well - perfect for the next phase of life.
